Jolly Roger Inn & Resort, Otter Lake

I had quite the adventure staying at the Jolly Roger during a Christmas eve snowstorm. The staff were incredibly accommodating and made us feel safe amidst the chaos outside. However, the dining experience fell short, as the restaurant service did not match the high standards set by the hotel staff. Overall, it was a cozy stay, but improvements could be made in the dining area.

My experience at this hotel was quite disappointing. The room was in dire need of updates and the lack of housekeeping during our stay was frustrating. On the upside, the staff was accommodating during a tough holiday season, and the central location was convenient for traveling. However, the breakfast was not at all what I expected, leaving a lot to be desired.

However, the overall condition of the facility was lacking, including a pool that didn't feel inviting and a restaurant staff that seemed overwhelmed. The only downside was the noise from other guests, but the management did everything they could to rectify it. Overall, it was a great value for a relaxing getaway with amenities that enhanced my experience.
